Contrary to what you may believe, bondsmen are NOT insured for this type of loss. Surety bonds, unlike standard insurance products, assume no expected level of loss. A large bond forfeiture can easily force a bail agent into insolvency. Therefore we earnestly solicit your understanding and your cooperation when reviewing a defendant's application for bail.
